Western charts use the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses by default; Vedic charts use the sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses. Both can be changed in Settings.

Questions
Asked often
Does Graha need an internet connection?
No. The planetary ephemeris and the city list are both inside the app, so it works the same on a plane as it does at home. It has no networking code at all.
Why is my sign different from the one in the newspaper?
Newspaper horoscopes use the tropical zodiac, measured from the spring equinox. Vedic astrology measures against the fixed stars, which currently puts every planet about 24° — roughly one sign — earlier. Graha asks which you read in when you first open it, and you can switch at any time in Settings.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Graha Pro is a one-time purchase. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel, it restores on your other devices, and it can be shared with your Family Sharing group.
Does Graha tell me what will happen?
No. It computes where everything was and is, and reports what the traditions say about it, with the source named. It does not predict events or tell you what to do.
What Graha is, and is not
Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a science. Graha is precise about the astronomy and plain about the rest: nothing in it is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not tell anyone what will happen.
